The tragedy and killings is guaranteed to shock even an audience habituated to graphic war violence on television, and in film and video games, said a guest present at the Washington metro area meeting.
The Westminster Institute was established in 2009 to promote individual dignity and freedom for people throughout the world by sponsoring high-quality research, with a particular focus on the threats from extremism and radical ideologies.
Bishop Dogo gave first-hand report on what has been happening in his diocese. He believes it is urgent to avoid another Rwanda or Kosovo in Nigeria and Southern Kaduna in particular.
Bishop Dogo graduated from Ahmadu Bello University Zaria. He was called up for mandatory one year national youth service corps and he served in Oyo State from 1993 to 1994. In 1998 he joined the ministry of the Anglican Church as an Evangelist. The same year he was sent to the Archbishop Vining College Theology Akure in the Western Nigeria for the basic ordination diploma program. He graduated from Vining in 2000 and was made Deacon in June of the same year. He was ordained as a priest in the Diocese of Wusasa in 2001.
