'West’s divide and rule policy root cause of CAR violence'
Investigative
journalist Tony Gosling believes that the West’s “divide and rule
policy” to destabilize Africa is the root cause of the violence in the
Central African Republic, rather than an “old tribal conflict.”
“I think the West never really wanted to give them [the African countries] independence back in the 1960s. Also this present conflict between the anti-Balaka and the Seleka is painted as a simple sectarian conflict between Muslims and Christians. It is nothing of the sort,” Gosling told Press TV on Wednesday.
