Terror attack on tourists unfolding at Mali Le Campement Kangaba Resort

Western tourists love to stay at the Le Campement Kangaba Resort, east of the capital Bamako in Mali is known among western tourists having  charming rooms, delicious and healthy food, a garden of Eden and dream pools.
Today this resort turned into nightmare place to visit when it became under deadly gunfire by terrorists. Luckily 32 hotel guests were able to escape from the hotel that came under gun attack by terrorists.  Two guests, however, died in the attack, among them a French – Gabonese citizen.
According to the security ministry, “one of the terrorists was able to escape, after being injured”. He left behind a machine gun and bottles filled with “explosive substances”.

The ministry said another two people had been injured, including a civilian.
Malian special forces intervened, backed by UN soldiers and troops from a French counter-terrorism force. The US embassy had warned US citizen to travel to Mali as recently as on June 9.
