Botswana wins the tourism for tomorrow award

Botswana has won the Tourism for Tomorrow award at the ongoing World Travel and Tourism Council in Thailand for its outstanding leadership and integrity in sustainable tourism development.

Announcing the award earlier, the category sponsor, Senior Director, Digital Engagement at Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, Nickolas Mattera says Botswana tourism organisation has successfully influenced policy to protect the Environment.

Receiving the award in Bangkok, Thailand, BTO Marketing Manager, Julian Blackbeard says the continued dedication towards sustainable tourism and conservation by Botswana pays off.
